It took months for me after Michael listing my home to really pack and get ready to move, and Michael was very patient and encouraging to me during this stressful time. As soon as I felt I could move in a timely manner Michael stepped up the sales process, and was able to sell my home at the asking price. I really feel without Michael’s help and understanding I could have never made this move happen. "I've known Michael Hoskin as a friend for several years, and I always knew he was great at his job — both from talking with him directly and from hearing it from others who had worked with him. I recently had the chance to work with him myself on selling my property Decatur, and the experience reinforced everything I already knew: he's a true pro through and through.What stands out most about Michael is his calm. Selling a house comes with a lot of moving parts and a lot of moments where it's easy to feel anxious or want to rush a decision. Michael never once seemed rattled. His deep experience and knowledge of the process — the timing, the market, what to expect at each stage — meant communication was always clear, which made the whole process feel manageable instead of stressful. More than once, when I was ready to move faster than made sense or was starting to panic about something, Michael talked me down and reassured me with facts, not just platitudes.He's also incredibly honest and transparent. He'll tell you straight where the market stands, where your house stands within it, and exactly what needs to happen to get it sold and competitive. He doesn't sugarcoat things, but he also doesn't create unnecessary alarm — he backs everything up with real data and research, which made pricing and negotiating decisions feel informed rather than like guesswork.One moment that really stuck with me: during negotiations after the inspection, the buyers asked for several repairs. "If you're purchasing a home, use Mr. Hoskin. One of the best qualities about him is he is very honest and direct. He's not as concerned with selling a house as he is with selling a house to the right buyer. There were times where I liked a house, but Mr. Hoskin would point out an overlooked detail that became a deal-breaker because it didn't fit my criteria. In the end, I was able to find a home that checked all the boxes and I couldn't be happier.Upon selecting a house, he makes the process of closing on it painless. He debriefs you for every step of the process, so you don't get overwhelmed throughout the process. Him and Carolyn made the process of closing a breeze, and because of it, I was able to close earlier than expected. Even after closing, he continued to help answer any additional question I had. I will definitely use him again in the future. I suggest you use him as well."
